If you’re a fan of world cinema then Bite the Mango tickets will allow you to see an inventive mixture of films from around the globe. Taking place over two days, Saturday 26th September and Sunday 27th September, the mini festival is dedicated to showcasing the best underexposed work from black and Asian film-makers and is a must-visit for film fans.

World View
One of the best things about the Bite The Mango tickets is that you will get to see films that you’d ordinarily never get to see at the cinema. With many cinemas dominated by big Hollywood blockbusters, the National Media Museum plays a vital role in providing a space for films that are outside of the mainstream to hit the big screen.

Fresh New Talent
There are several new films available to those with Bite The Mango tickets. You can choose from a tense Bangladeshi drama called The Last Thakur, an award-winning film exploring the conflict between India and Pakistan, entitled Ramchand Pakistan, or even child-friendly screenings of the visually stunning Baraka. This film costs just £1 to attend and is accompanied by family activities such as badge-making and art activities.

Hip Hop History
A very special part of the weekend is the screening of four seminal hip-hop-inspired movies. Kicking off with one of the first films to document hip-hop to the world, Beat Street, the weekend also includes Spike Lee’s awesome Do The Right Thing, and two other classics, Boyz In The Hood and Juice. You can attend the individual screenings of these films or buy Bite the Mango tickets that allow you access to all the films and events.

IMAX: Journey to Mecca
A trip to the IMAX is always a memorable occasion and a very special screening of the Journey to Mecca film offers a completely different experience to seeing the usual blockbusters. This film documents the globe-trotting adventures of a 14th Century traveller who crosses the globe and attends his first Hajj in Mecca.

Bite the Mango tickets are now on sale and cost £20 for a full weekend pass. Individual film screenings cost £5.75. The IMAX Journey to Mecca screening costs £6.75. For more information on film times and to buy tickets, click on the link below.
